A real possibility given our current form. Though I am backing Pakistan to go deep in this tourney if Sarfraz and Maqsood fire.

yeah thats a concern for me both will be out the playing XI for the next game. If Younis and Umer Akmal have couple of good games we may not see then in this tourney again. But I am backing a Younis failure next game and that will get Sohaib back and then I hope he delivers.

Younis as opener is a really poor choice by the looks of it. They would rather benefit from a quickfire 20-30 from Sarfraz or Jamshed.

Sohaib, was eerily reminiscent of Inzi when I saw him last. Did well against us but seems to have not kicked on or just not given the opportunities ?

Yea he barely lasted a minute at the crease so it crossed my mind that he was in the team.

Yeah,a bit of both. He's played some decent innings but he's still yet to really break out and Pakistani selectors being Pakistani selectors drop and recall him constantly.

I think in the context of the current side it'd help him a lot if he worked on his bowling a little bit; he was a specialist offie at youth level before injuries. If Haris "never really bowled at all in professional cricket before now" Sohail can do it...

And Sohail doesn't look the worst.

The sooner they get Sohaib up to 3 or 4 and give him a run the better. He seemed a better starter v the quicks.

Yeah I've been a pretty vocal fan of his on here; I think he could be gun if he was shown some faith. I reckon he's got a good Test career in him as well.
