So the opening 2 days has given us a couple of talking points. The Anderson run out which the umpires got totally wrong and denied Taylor a ton and then today the dismissal by 3rd umpire of Umar Akmal despite the evidence of snicko being minimal to say the least.

Argue it all and many more in here to try and keep the match threads clean of ranting and arguments.

The Akmal/Jadeja decision has seriously been one of the highlights of the Cup for me so far, in a positive way. May this spur other third umpires on to also grow a set.

To be honest I was watching on a poor stream and haven't yet seen the footage you have all gone on about with the visible deviation so have stayed out of it. If it was a good decision then fair play to the 3rd umpire for growing a pair.

Nah Cribb is the outlier here. It still wasn't enough.

In other news, they have declared they were wrong regarding the Aus-Eng run out.

The run out was such a big **** up

It wasn't a judgement error (e.g. missing a nick)

But rather a case of four umpires no less, not knowing a pretty well-known rule

That run out decision was pathetic. Hope umpiring standard will improve in the knockout stage.
