Now or never for Kiwis

So to clarify your scale of hyperbole, we have players who are in and out of a NZ side as good, first team regulars are super, key players (ie most of the team apparently) are all-time greats, with say Williamson and Vettori as epic legends and defenders of the universe.
We've missed your cartoon evil. Where have you been? It just hasn't been the same.

You'll be glad to hear there are generations of new kiwi posters who have never heard of you just crying out for a new grinch after Blocky's demise.

Whilst NZ might have a better team in 4 years time you've gotta bet on them having a better chance this time around imo. Home conditions + half the test playing nations being almost non entities really does give NZ a chance. WI, Pak and Eng have basically gone from having an outside chance to no chance in the last year.

India are much better suited to English ODI conditions(slower wickets with slow turn available) than Australian.
Australia have plenty of current players who should still be around and probably haven't peaked as of yet (Maxwell, Warner, Smith, Finch, Faulkner, MMash, Starc) + a seemingly limitless bowling supply + they benefit by having their young bats play in the IPL sometimes before they've played much international cricket which is a great resource. Likes of Maxwell and Warner have benefited and the likes of Maddinson, Lynn etc have had the chance to play IPL before really playing international cricket. That should continue with the heavy australian influence in the coaching setups.
England should be better at home although there is no guarantee.

Pakistan and West Indies are unknown imo. WI may be completely gone or they may be run better. Pakistan seem to be struggling to bring good players through right now. It's hard for these two to be much worse than they are right now you'd think.
SL are the only team you'd say are very likely to be worse off come 2019. SA will probably be as well as Amla, AB and Steyn are close to or finished playing.

Asian teams (except SL) have a lot better chance of winning in England 2019 than Aus/Nz imo
Eng should be at least a factor in the 2019 wc unlike this one.
Aus and NZ whilst possibly stronger in 2019 than 2015 are better suited to home conditions.

tl;dr There should be more competitive teams in 2019 as opposed to 2015

Agree with the popular sentiment that not a do or die for the Kiwis. Having all but the final game in Australia makes it a huge advantage for the Kiwis. However, they did perform well in that World Cup in '99 (the win v Australia in that world cup was epic). Can have a fair chance in the next world cup as well.

Do you know what "potentially" means?

And if you don't rate guys like Williamson, Southee, Taylor, Anderson and Ronchi at this point you're basically a moron.

Well NZ has more pure swing bowlers than Australia...I think England won't be a bad place to place for Southee and Boult.

Probably, yeah.

Tbf, Schaly has always been a pretty vocal supporter of Ronchi, on the basis that he's not a New Zealander and must therefore by automatically the best player in the country.

Oh yeah I remember that.

The case for dropping Watling for Ronchi was always ridiculously thin, even in ODI cricket.

And IIRC he was advocating Ronchi playing as a specialist batsman in the Test side? hilarious.

Do you want to know my favourite thing about Scaly Piscine?

He's in love with a kiwi allrounder who happens to wear an England shirt.

The cognitive dissonance and/or inner turmoil must be something to behold.
