Apparently 57 is not correct. It is actually 14.
I'm guessing the 57 is referring to his career?

The two umpires with the poorest review records were Asoka de Silva (five out of eight appeals upheld), and Daryl Harper (seven out of 14).
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Asoka also managed to uphold an lbw striking a batsman outside the line of off, despite asking the 3rd umpire to check whether it hit bat or pad first.

If you're asking that question, then it's pretty obvious that the batsman is playing a shot.

Wonder where the 57 figure originally came from, should've twigged that it was way too high. Quite a few places reporting it as fact now. Still, 14/14 is impressive enough.

How many of Harper's came in one game. If memory serves there was one match where it seemed like he was over-ruled every 15 minuites or so, although guess the memory plays tricks.

Not totally surprised about Dar, but even for an excellent umpire that's an extraordinary performance.

These are the decisions reversed in the Canadian innings in their match against Pakistan, four of which were from Harper. He also had two other decisions referred (one in each innings) that he actually managed to get right.
    Canada innings

Over 4.2: Review by Canada (Batting), Umpire - NJ Llong, Batsman - NR Kumar (Upheld)
Over 7.1: Review by Canada (Batting), Umpire - DJ Harper, Batsman - A Bagai (Upheld)
Over 17.1: Review by Pakistan (Bowling), Umpire - DJ Harper, Batsman - A Bagai (Upheld)
Over 33.3: Review by Pakistan (Bowling), Umpire - DJ Harper, Batsman - ZE Surkari (Upheld)

The much maligned Billy Bowden did pretty well and I have to say Marais Erasmus is turning out to be a pretty solid umpire. I have to say I like the way that Dar is willing to be firm with the players on occasion - such as when Ricky Ponting was giving him some verbal in the Ashes series.

Maybe you can start by naming your house after him ..........
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
