I have had a look around at Planet cricket. How come it's gotten crap?

Majority of the cricket 'fans' there are teenange Indian fanboys who really knowthing nothing about anything.
Add to the a few obnoxious posters who may have a few good points once in a while, but are usually spewing garbage and incite flame wars if you disagree with them, with their condescending passive-aggressive attitudes.
General cricket discussion there is pretty poor tbh, not a lot of good posters left.
You aren't going to get a lot of people on the internet who have seen the likes of Kepil Dev and Botham or Malcolm Marshall etc. Most of them are going to be teenagers, who have a chance to learn more about cricket from the seniors on the forum. For example I started watching cricket in 98, so one of the only ways for me to learn about cricket is through reading posts here from seniors who watched cricket at the time when you had great players like the ones I mentioned above.
Sanz, you are a joke and I hope you get infracted for your poor posting in this thread.

i thought Afridi nonchalently biting the ball was real classy tbh
Lol, I thought you were being sarcastic.
I know this guy who ball tampers by putting a bottle cap (sharp metal one) in the elastic of his pants. Everytime he shines the ball he scratches the surface of it. He's played about 20 odd FC games in Pakistan and he says literally every pace bowler tampers with the ball even at that level lol. Came as a shock to me at first but it's kind of believable =/
That sounds really awful tbh. Hope he's wrong about "literally every pace bowler".
"I will go down as Darren Sammy, the one who always smiles" - Darren Sammy
Which makes his transformation all the more remarkable.
A ' bad boy ' who missed the last WC cause he poked at some bozo in the crowd, now exhibits exemplary leadership qualities.
If someone mentioned Afridi and captaincy some years ago, it was to meant as a joke to elicit derision and laughter. Nobody's laughing now
More from Afridi:
" We didn't have much hope from this side but I have respect for my team. Reception? We will go back, people will give us confidence, they backed us. If those people who make us stars say a little what's wrong with that? It's nothing big.... "
I am floored, cant believe what I'm reading. This is statesmanship at it's finest.
