As Sangakkara said, India can chase even 350

Congratulations MS on Man of the Match award!

Very high class innings from Dhoni. Is it possible for a him to become an even bigger star than he already is in India?

Congrats to India. Kept the nerve in the chase very well.

Sris really looked short a couple of bowlers.

Congratulations India, well deserved.

Can't help but feel for the likes of Mahela, Sanga, Murali and Dilshan, you'd think that that was their chance, can't see them getting another go...

Ouch that cut deep. I mean India only won the world cup in the end didn't they

Shame you can't come to a medic's party, lots of heavy drinking, might help you drown your sorrows

Liked how Shastri dealt with it.

Congrats Indian fans, your team played brilliantly. Truly deserving champions. Nice to see Sachin finally get the cup.

Feel sorry for Sanga, Mehela and the Sri Lankan team and fans. There is always the next cup to look forward to.

Still getting over the hangover from our 3 or 4 in a row so dont need another drink

Cant remember how many because it became so monotonous

BTW, if the party is so good, why are you on the internet?

Too many medics and not enough nurses would be my guess

It's okay, it's gone now.

No one needs to quote/respond/etc - we don't need to sour this.
