Would love to see a world cup being played in the U.K during Feb/March/April. I could finally play in ski boots for the first couple of rounds.

The 2nd April date is wrong, so no jinx.

The Mumbai pitch isnt going to be like Perth or Brisbane where the balls skids on for Vaas to make an impact. He will meet the same fate as Gul, Tait ,Steyn. at the hands of Sehwag
Played about 10 matches against India, and RPO is about 5. Obviously don;t watch cricket or could not identify Randiv.

And further proof of that is evident from what you say about Vaas. Vaas loves pitches that skid on. If you miss him, you are stone dead in the front.

I think India will win it. They seem the favorites to me. Having said that my gut feel hasn't been working too well since the beginning of the quarter finals. All my predictions since the WI-Pak QF, barring the SL-NZ SF, have turned out to be wrong

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

You obviously dont know that Indian team are best players of spin bowling. They will just use their feet and come down the track and hit him everywhere

Your strategies against other teams like Aussies , Pommmies and Kiwis who just dont bother to ever learn to play spin in subcontinent will never work against India. Got it ?

Your actually lucky that Murali is confident of playing tomorrows game.

Though I wont be suprised if he misses out , the way Shoaib Akhtar missed out shockingly and also if he underperforms like Afridi and throws away the match to please his inlaws who are Indians.lol.

Randiv has got a loser's attitude anyway, won't be a big factor in the game. He gave up and bowled a no ball to make India win instead of fighting till the end like a man in an ODI game.

Matthews has been ruled out, but Randiv has replaced him in the squad. So no Vaas.

Presumably they will have to play Perera or Randiv at #7, and the #8 will be decided on whether they want to play the extra seamer or spinner.

Given that Herath hasn't impressed me all that much, and I think the Sri Lankan lower order needs all the help it can get, I'd go with a 7-11 of Perera, Randiv/Kulasekara, Malinga, Murali, Mendis.

the most appropriate thing to say I guess would be WAC.

Dude good spin bowling troubled India a lot in the semi-final. In fact only Gul (and Razzaq) was totally wayward in the semi-final otherwise the Indian batsmen looked totally at sea against the other bowlers (mostly spinners). I think I agree with Migara that you haven't really watched cricket EVER.

Afridi's in laws are Indian?????
