Roach and Russel to run through the top order IMO

Neither side look as though they could chase. Pak nearly made a pigs ear out of an easy chase against Aus, while the Windies stop batting from 4 down. Both sides will be looking to bat first I would think.

Pakistan's batting as I said before the tournament is frail. If Misbah and/or Younis dont score, they simply dont have the tools to put up a decent total. I do expect Roach (and maybe Russell) to run through them.

If the Windies insist on Sammy being a passenger captain he needs to at least win a toss for once and bat first. I won't trust the Windies chasing anything decent down, but I could see them defending a total much more easily. Presuming Roach recovers from his fever completely, I fully expect him to bag a few key wickets. I hope Benn gets dropped too because he's clearly adding nothing right now

Two things to consider :

1) Pakistan have just beaten the world's best side and ended a legendary winning streak.
2) West Indies have not beaten a Test team in an ODI (Bangladesh excluded) since 2009.

Pakistan to win this one comfortably.

lol lots of people underrating Pakistan.I am wary of WI but I reckon if we turn up switched on we will beat them 8/10.Have to get Gayle early and keep Roach out.

If Pak win, you can bet it won’t be comfortably. They don’t do it like that!

After facing Lee and Tait, Pakistan should have little trouble with Roach. Gayle shouldn't be a problem if Pakistan open the bowling with a spinner.

I have a feeling someone is going to put in a once-in-a-decade kind of performance for Pakistan. Maybe Afridi.

Not really Afridi and Razzaq are still to play their one outstanding knock of the tourney, Saeed Ajmal and Shoaib are still to make an impact in the tourney.

But Pak's opening spin bowler doesn't turn it and doesn't get many wickets so Gayle should like that. Pak haven't played in Bangladesh as well, so the Windies will at least be more in-tune with the conditions.
