India lose to WI and suddenly there's changes to who plays where.
Even if they didn't have this home ground rule, a result like that would still change everything.

Eg B4 goes up to B2, B2 goes down to B3, B3 goes down to B4 so basically all 3 of these teams would then play at different venues and on different dates.

50% chance of rain (as distinct from wash out)

50% chance of no rain

I am afraid Pakistan is going to win tomorrow. Shahid Afridi is determined to win and reach the top of Group A table.

India vs. Australia in the quarter finals is very likely. We all know what the result will be.

Gut feeling that Pakistan will win.

In that case India should deliberately lose the match against WI. I would prefer India to face any other team in the quarter finals than Australia.

Although i agree Aus game would be tough if India plays against them, there is no reason why they can't beat Australia. I don't expect another collapse from the batting order. Happy that it happened before the quarters. So all is not lost!!!

India should not lose to anyone deliberately - it doesn't matter if they get the beating of their lifetime against Australia. Seriously, how can you even suggest such a thing?

India will have to play Australia either in the quarters or the semis.
Let's hope that pakistan win today so that India play australia in the quarters.

Ok I get the below from PP. Can someone confirm if this is accurate?

Assuming SAF beats BD...... here are all the scenarios....please correct me if I am wrong.

1) If Aus beats Pak & Ind beats WI.... will be an SAF-Pak QF.
2) If Aus beats Pak & WI beats Ind.... will be an SAF-Pak QF.

3) If Pak beats Aus & Ind beats WI.... will be an WI-Pak QF.
4) If Pak beats Aus & WI beats Ind.... will be an IND-Pak QF.

5) If Pak vs Aus get rained out & Ind beats WI.... will be an Ind-Pak QF.
6)If Pak vs Aus get rained out & WI beats Ind.... will be an WI-Pak QF.
