Either the Windies have bowled bad (they have, far too short) or the wicket isn't as bad as the Sky boys were making out.

How well is Trott timing them? This looks a flat, flat pitch.

"Interesting field changes in both teams for this game." - Tony Cozier

With every moment he inches closer to retirement...
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

Really? I've only heard great things about this wicket from a batting standpoint. Since before the first ball, the commentators were raving about how flat this surface is (devoid of grass) and how fast the outfield is.

Trott off to a slow start.

I don't think it's as active as all that. He's getting bad bowling and dispatching it. Pretty passive 275 SR.

This really is outstanding batting though. Fed some trash but he knows not to flay the living bejesus out of it, on these outfields if you time and place it you get four.
