NZ bat first or it's going to be short.

I don't think you understand, it doesn't matter how fast Canada scores, it'll still be 50 overs. Higher run rate does not equate to the 50 overs finishing faster.

I hope New Zealand bat first, tbh. More game time to enjoy and it will give most of our batsmen a workout.

It's a day game so I want it to last the full 100 overs. I hope we bat first. Much more entertaining.

I hope we bat first, but I don't hope it lasts 100 overs. 80 will do (i.e. Canada all out by the 30th over).

I don't know why Canada is being underestimated here, they're in with a good shout. Expect a performance similar to the Pakistan game from them. I see them pushing NZL out of their comfort zone.

Mate, if you've looked at the polls, we CWebbers have been giving the minnows plenty of a chance. They (Ireland and Bang excluded) have just failed to give us any reason to see them as a threat.

I'm obviously not saying it's likely, I'm just saying anything can happen. Canada did show some fight against Pakistan and England in the earlier matches. And their win against Kenya will provide them with the confidence going into this game.

I agree NZL are specialist minnow bashers, but I really wouldn't write off Canada to atleast push for an upset. They're not exactly Kenya

A big part of me wants Canada to win this match.Yes i hold grudges.

Can't see it happening though. But it would be nice to see a big upset in Group A too.

Voted Canada for the lulz. 50/50 in the polls, should have bookies scratching their heads.
