Will you ignore the world cup until the quarter finals?
Hello
When you have two groups with 4 of the better test teams in each and 4 teams from each group are allowed to qualify for the quarter finals it seems obvious which teams will get through. So why not watch matches only after the quarter finals get underway on the 23rd? Whatever happens before is just pointless isn't it? Last edited by StumpMic; 09-03-2011 at 08:31 AM. |

Agree with you OP,it is a waste to watch matches before the QF's.
I mean why watch a 2hr movie when you can just watch the last 5 minutes, everything else is just a waste isn't it. Hell you could just read a synopsis on imdb or wikipedia and save 2hrs of your life.

We've seen some very intresting match-ups even if there is a slight air of inevitability about the quarter-finalists.
That said if Zimbabwe turn over Sri Lanka and the Lankans also come unglued against NZ there could yet be life in Group A and England losing to Bangladesh or the Windies to Ireland might put the cat amongst the pigeons in B too. Unlikely but then so was Ireland chasing down 327 v England.
