Seriously, it's hard to continue to rate him as anything more than mediocre in this format when for two years he continues to look consistently menacing and then get out for an entirely underwhelming score.

Gotta say England's batting lineup looks in menacing form. Maybe these pitches are really, really flat and if every match has a 300+ score, it will soon get old.

Dunno if I'd say England's batting is in great form, although they do always bat very confidently these days. Our bowling's been very poor, no pressure at all, luckily because of those two gifts we're still just about in the game.

Here's the thing though - England's top four have looked in menacing form for months. Difference between looking in form and putting runs on the board.

They're certainly doing it over here though.
