Told my buddies I am throwing a party at my place, plus buying all the alcohol, if Ireland beats England.

Won't happen. Reckon KP is just about ready to burst with a huge ton.

    Why have the unnecessary qualifier?

Yeah, though he has been getting attractive 20s and 30s for a while without really going on with it, I get a feeling he's finally going to have a really good tournament. The opening partnership seems to be working well.

Wow, that's carried a fair bit further than I thought. Rather fortuitous six.

Haha, then he plays a superb bent-knee square drive for none. Funny game sometimes.

Followed by an even better cover/off-drive... also for none.

That looked nasty, hope it isn't anywhere near as bad as it might be.

Great start by England. Keep going boys.

Ouch. That looks nasty. Hopefully he's just rolled it and nothing worse.

Yet another 300+ score on the cards.

This must be the highest-scoring World Cup ever.

I really like KP opening the batting. He gets so much value for money with his whips through the leg-side when the field is restricted. A far better option than using wicketkeepers who will either score a duck or make 50 once every 10 innings.
