You can understand why the ICC want to limit the amount of teams that play in the World Cup. Because quite frankly performances like this are ruining the game as a spectacle.

Agree. icc cutting down the number of 'minnows' in the next wc is a joke. It IS part of the spectacle, and a good appetizer for the bigger matches later. In every sports wc there are lesser teams, but they are given the right every 4 years to mix it with the big boys.

10 teams in the next wc will be friggin ****, and we will miss watching fun contests like this one, and even the zim aus one from last night, where we saw the zim bowlers compete well. These are two good batsmen, very good in RTD's case, so an impressive partnership is not too surprising on this pitch. These two remain key and as Noble One said, they need to stay together till at least the 40th over, if RTD goes through, 250 could be a minimum score.
