These two will need to bat until the 40th over for the Dutch to post a reasonable total. The quality of batting falls away quite badly once this pair are broken.

Haha, oh dear. These two are obviously quality batsmen but this is very flat from the Englishmen.

You can understand why the ICC want to limit the amount of teams that play in the World Cup. Because quite frankly performances like this are ruining the game as a spectacle.

Isn't it great to see the developing cricketing nations like England putting up a real fight? This bowler named Swann would make a very handy cricketer for the Netherlands if he completes his four year residence.

Agree. icc cutting down the number of 'minnows' in the next wc is a joke. It IS part of the spectacle, and a good appetizer for the bigger matches later. In every sports wc there are lesser teams, but they are given the right every 4 years to mix it with the big boys.

10 teams in the next wc will be friggin ****, and we will miss watching fun contests like this one, and even the zim aus one from last night, where we saw the zim bowlers compete well. Another ****up by the icc. They finally get the format right in this one and they go and blow it again. What a pack of jokers

Ooops KP. Mind you, would've been dreadful if that ball had taken a wicket.

Ah. There we are.

These are two good batsmen, very good in RTD's case, so an impressive partnership is not too surprising on this pitch. These two remain key and as Noble One said, they need to stay together till at least the 40th over, if RTD goes through, 250 could be a minimum score.

Nearly broke through there, but KP spills it down at fine leg, decent one-handed effort in the end.

Well, the drop didn't cost much.

Cooper will be annoyed at himself for that. He'd played so well until then.

Cooper gone. Bit lame. Decent knock though.

And I love these Steven Seagal ads.

NL should score 240+ if they want to put England in some pressure.

RtD surely can take NL there if he stays for full 50.
