Haddin is batting slow here even by test standards.
Guess that is the effect of Ponting's words but he is a really gifted batsman and if he stays there long enough then the SR too would improve.

He's someone who should be getting big hundreds at the top of the order and for a batsman of his caliber an average of 30 odd is somewhat disappointing.

EDIT: Meh...

Ah.Finally a wicket.

Hopefully Pontings falls first ball. That would bring down the target 5 odd runs for Zimbabwe.

Refreshing to see Haddin bring out the cap.

Hate batsman who wear the helmet during the whole innings.Pussies.

Long Live King Viv.
What's ***** about wearing helmets?

As long as the Batsman is comfortable it is pretty sensible.

Raman Lamba lost his life fielding close without a helmet.

Zimbabwe on the ball today. Spin early against Watson and Haddin is so crucial. They both play spin well, they just struggle to turn the strike over.

One of the most pointless innings ever from Haddin. How about sending Johnson in for a hit? Need to build some momentum now because things will not get easier as the ball softens.

Such a disappointing start to our campaign, no surprise that spin has kept us quiet.

I hate how our top 7 and both our batting reserves are right handed..

Watson is definitely not a good player of spin mate, he has somewhat improved his defense against spin but unless a spinner bowls a long-hop or half-volley he is pretty limited against spin.

Crayfish will turn it square if the dew doesn't come into play which I hear could be a factor on this ground, that's why its even more important that we put a good total on the board.

Chakabva been on the field the whole time. Hopefully he's actually playing and Shingi isn't - no-one seemed to really know who was in the team after the toss for some reason.
