Was embarrassing to watch. The wicket was awful but Bennett was bowling almost gun barrel half volleys. Not going to be a pretty sight against Pak if Bennett was too quick for them.

All in all it was the line of panic that has become all too familiar with kenya's batting these days. Here's hoping they get their heads together for wednesday

From Bill Frindall, considered an authority when it comes to scoring/rules etc:

"A hat-trick can never involve more than two innings because it can only be achieved within one match."

It aways staggers me when commentators and ex-players say things that show they don't know the laws of the game. If you're being paid to play or comment on a sport, shouldn't you have a thorough understanding of the rules and concepts? That seems like a basic job requirement to me. (I know the hat-trick concept isn't part of cricket's laws, but it's still a part of the game and should be understood by professional cricket commentators).

It's like an airline pilot who doesn't know what some of the buttons do, and just hopes he'll never have to use them, or worse, thinks he knows what they do but has it completely wrong.

Meh, 300 people won`t die if a commentator makes an error, though.
