Jesus that's an ordinary shot. Turned a little bit, but what was Ghambir trying to do?

Great bowling change tho and points in my fantasy bank.
Mahmudullah's a ballsy call for your fantasy team given Shakib doesn't like/rate him and he might not play all their games as a result. That could end up being yet another reason for you to deride his captaincy and general leadership. :p

He was a steal, tbf. Think he rated an "E".

EDIT: My last minute decision to swap Sehwag for Twatto looking a genius call tho, but.

That rolled along the ground, and the commentators didn't even mention it. Ravi just kept verbally masturbating over India's potential total. Dire stuff.

Indeed. Asking for trouble with Sunny & Ravi in tandem, but the focus is tiresomely India-centric. Barely a mention of the Banglas, far less a discussion of bowling/field changes.

It's all looked so utterly effortless too.

Sehwag one run from a ton at better than a run a ball and it's been (after the initial fireworks) almost a subdued effort.

Onto strike...

EDIT: & there it is. Played, chap.

Yusuf Pathan to score a quick fifty here. Set up so well for him. Maybe an ultra fast 100 if he comes in around the 40th over.

India cruising to a rather imposing total here. Sehwag's been very controlled here, and yet he still scores at more than a run a ball. Kohli also looking in fantastic touch.

The Bangladesh attack has been sadly woeful. The seamers have been predictably ineffective, Shafiul especially has been well below par and treated with absolute contempt.

The batting powerplay now has been taken and with two batsmen well set and eight wickets in the shed, these next five overs could produce a flurry of boundaries, to think that Dhoni, Youvraj and Pathan are still to come, this is a frightening prospect for a confidence-hit Bangladesh attack.

Even the spinners have done little to stem the flow of runs, and credit to India for how they've worked the ball around. Doesn't look easy to time the ball when they take the pace off it, but the Indians have still managed to tick the board over rather easily.

If Sehwag bats through to the end of the innings he'll have 40-45 balls to hit 70 odd runs for 200.

Do-able but might be more tough after the powerplay

Players very quick to turn to the runner these days, causes more problems than it solves a lot of the time due to the confusion and lack of clarity in the shouting. Hoping for a run out for that very reason. Unless it's a muscle pull or something more serious, these guys should man up and run it off.
