Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Can I make an early request for the round order - instead of randomising each round, can we use the "conveyor belt" system used in the Random Player Draft? Would ensure everyone gets a go first, and we can pick more tactically.

Thing is, we'd have to be finished before the Cup starts.

24 would mean we potentially struggle to get it in before the tournament finishes. Would think that with 6 people can get a list to someone to cover in case of a quick run on picks?

Still think some sort of guideline is necessary to be honest - I know for the CW fantasy cricket we've classed all the all-rounders as either a batsman or a bowler and that provides enough of each.

Like this, would say that after a number 1 pick, you drop to bottom in the list and so on.

What are the numbers limit?

Make it 18. Means people get time to research and sleep and go to work/school. 12 would probably be more efficient but some people may not be able to get online in that period.

You're forgetting the deadline though - there's only about a month to get this done. Assuming 10 entries, that's 110 picks - has to be 6 hours or it won't get completed.

That exactly was my point. We will have to complete picking ALL players by 19th February 2011 or else I wont be able to keep counting ( though we have built an automated system to count points ) points on time.

We may have to limit the number of participants if we're going to get this done in time.

Whatever happens, the maximum is 19.

In the absence of a formal listing I'd suggest we have a minimum of, say, 5 batsmen, 3 bowlers.

A designated keeper (but only one - if someone picks 2 keepers then one is nominated as a batsman) then 2 players as the person sees fit?

Ok so lets go for these 2 options :

5 batsman | 2 all rounders | 1 wicket keeper | 3 bowlers
4 batsman | 3 all rounders | 1 wicket keeper | 4 bowlers
