Did you guys knowingly set out to draft the most out of form players possible? :p

Actually it was Howe_zat and Teja's turn only :p

They had posted their player just 2 mins earlier so I missed it.

Does seem that way.

By the way, didn't someone do an analysis on here that seemed to suggest an out-of-form player was more likely to score runs than an in-form one ? I remember reading something like that in one of the Ashes threads. Could be wrong though.

As he will prbably be opening ,the difference in points between him and the next available keeper in terms of batting is likely to be really big.

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
MarcFAN select JP Duminy

Batsman - Dilshan, Duminy
AR - Shakib
WK - DeVilliers
Bowler - Zaheer

Yeah......I think it happens most in world cups.....the people expected to do well usually flop and those with no expectations do well........

The analysis and theory were complete rubbish.

Something to do with a batsman having a fixed quota of runs for a series so those that scored big early were bound to fail later in the series.

In fact I go so far as to say it's that bad a theory is elevates the FCA to 2nd worst of all time.
