Sean Ervine to return for Zim?

Cricinfo: Zimbabwe news: Masakadza dropped from World Cup squad | Zimbabwe Cricket News | ESPN Cricinfo

Would make a huge difference to their side.

If he does come back, I wouldn't expect him to stick around for any length of time.

He's still under contract with Hampshire from memory, so it's not like he'll be back without a fight. Reckon he'll play but it's still too early to say.

Blignaut's retired, and Matsikenyeri's just plain dire.

tbf, Blignaut wasn't any better than their other bits and pieces all rounders they have at the moment. Do recall a pretty dire stint at Tasmania a few years back.

Yeah he is returning:

BBC Sport - Cricket - Hampshire all-rounder Sean Ervine to leave the club

Was frustrating at times but one of my very favourite cricketers, wish him all the best.

No Hamilton is an absolute joke but good to see Ervine senior back.

Last game he played for Zim...

4th Match: Zimbabwe v India at Harare, Jun 3, 2010 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

Strange that he would once again retire after such a performance.

Yeah, apparently he's been more interested in his business and isn't willing to commit to cricket anymore I imagine.

Zim have a very decent squad for the World Cup.

It's awesome that Ervine is back. They have quite an experienced squad really and many multi - facet players like Ervine, Chiumbura, decent spinners in Price, Cremer and,'Utseya, batsman like Coventry who have big ODI scores. They need their quicks to perform. How's Mpofu's CW interview taking shape?
