Icon4 Did youse know that the cricket world cup was this MASSIVE!!

The tournament is the world's third largest and most viewed sporting events, being televised in over 200 countries to over two billion television viewers.[2][43][1][44][45] Television rights, mainly for the 2011 and 2015 World Cup, were sold for over US$1.1 billion,[46] and sponsorship rights were sold for a further US$500 million.[47] The 2003 Cricket World Cup matches were attended by 626,845 people.[48]

yeah. but this world cup will hurt that somewhat. Although the next one should bring it right back up, and may be even more.

Yup, we all know cricket is one of the most watched sports in world atm and WC is one tournament that always generates huge viewership, so nothing suprising in that.

Pasag, just spare a thought for FILOCRICKET mate, its only his first day at CW.

So we shouldn't be so critical about his spellings.

A pretty disappointing world cup and not really worth viewing tbh. Lets hope for closer last two matches. It will be interesting to see how the Twenty20 world cup will go later on this year. It should provide closer contests but probably lesser showing of true cricket skills.

Yeah it's a good moneyspinner alright.. Certainly all of the relevant stakeholders will be royally catered for in this global, two month long celebration of cricket..
