None of them. They have the depth but they just havn't been performing too well of late.

First of all I meant 1999 (it was a typo!) I think all three should go (although in the captain's case just from the ODI part of his job) and the reason I mention Graveney is go back to 1999 when England last had a clear out. The coach, captain and two selectors went - but not Graveney. No wonder the 2000 Wisden called him "bulletproof". Since Vaughan and Fletcher have copped most of the flack this time there is a danger Graveney might survive another clear out and i think its time for him to go too (but only Willis has really mentioned him)

Not sure, TBH. Can't see that Graveney going would help, at all. Gooch and Gatting's removal in the clear-out of 1999 had more to do with the desire to be "seen to be doing something" in addition to the hiring of Duncan Fletcher. I've never been sure what Engel meant by calling him bulletproof, either - he'd only been the CoS for 2 years at that point. And he's now been at the helm for 10 years. Change for the sake of change is never a good idea. Nor are "clearouts" - both Graveney and Miller have generally been good selectors and have kept the right people happy.

BTW - thought you were cracking a funny with the 1888 bit. Huge letdown.

Vaughan and Graveney.

Graveney has had some ridiculous selections and Vaughan as captain takes who he wants on to the field from the squad selected. I am sure they have discussions before the squad is selected and Vaughan has an input on the quiet.

Fletcher should have put a plan in place to enlist an ODI specialist coach (after the last World Cup) rather than bringing in Maynard. I am not happy with Shine either.
