Bond getting murdered, after this and our Aussie performance we don't really deserve to be in the final. Peaked to early I think.

290 to win in a World Cup Semifinal. A tough ask, but if the Black Caps can pull it off, they will go into the Final with a lot of confidence.

290 to chase, I'm not feeling confident at all. Not against three bowlers we have traditionally struggled against, we'll need the rub of the green when we bat. Fantastic knock by Jayawardene, our bowling and fielding were pretty rubbish.

Very poor show from NZ to be honest. Looked a little lacklustre.

Who knows... still 50 overs to go!

One feels we could have scored more in the middle orders. Hopefully this score is enough.

If we hadn't bowled so tight to Sangakarra, we could've been looking at over 300.

After the two shocking decisions against them, as well as James Franklins highly annoying facial expression to he Sangakara when he dismissed him...I'm firmly in the SL camp.

Very nice finish. Sri Lanka has the advantage but NZ batsmen are no mugs with the bat, should be an interesting contest.

Jayawardene well played sir, truely a captain's knock and Fleming would do well to come up an innings similar to Jayawardene's.
Its not over till its over mate

Yeah i don't think Sangakkara, Silva and Jayawardene batted that bad it was some good bowling during that stage of the match. But Jayawardene turned on a bit of a masterclass really, at the end of the innings, Bevan-ese.

NZ gave away 102 runs in last 10 overs. Poor effort IMO.

I actually thought Oram bowled very well in his first spell, but his figures don't really reflect that. He was hard to get away, Sangakarra was actually looking very solid in defence and his driving through the off side was beautiful, just a pity he threw his wicket away.

Anything over 70 is a poor effort IMO.
