    Franklin's been impressive IMO.

Sanga isn't the best off spinner in the history of cricket? News to me.

The Tharanga lbw was one. There was a Vettori lbw appeal on Jayawardene early I think as well, but I personally didn't think it was out. He probably means that one though.

Dead set shocker for Dilshan. Can't be too many times that'd be only the second-worst LBW shout in an innings.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Yeah the other one all though technically out was a fair call by the umpire, my other eye is a tad closed.

Compared to his usual self he was quite impressive, but overall I don't think anyone has had a good bowling effort. Franklin did get a couple of edges that ran away to the boundary early on though, so I suppose it wasn't too bad. His wickets were from poor shots, not good balls though.

Think Lanka will win. 260 plus should be tough to chase with the pressure on in the second inning.

Here comes Franklin back into the attack. How badly can he wreck his figures?

That often happens in ODIs though, due to the field placings. He bowled good balls that went for four, and took wickets through sustained pressure. It's been a very un-Franklin like display really.

SL are moving towards a big total considering the nature of this pitch and their bowling attack and now i think Black Caps would have come up something special with the bat to have any chance of winning this one.

That's true, but he still has an over and a half to bowl yet so we'll see what happens. He could get tonked or he could pick up some more cheap wickets.

Yeah I think it is to much, although as they say, if you are good enough.

Franklin's not a death bowler by any means, so I'm quite sure he'll get smashed. But he's been impressive nevertheless IMO.
