I'm guessing that's not a piece from The Sun, that headline alone would have filled three pages.

Pakistan no longer suspects in Woolmer case

Thank God. I hope this stops the wild rumors flying around all over the place.

Gotta doubt it, TBH.

When did the truth ever get in the way of a good rumour?

Woolmer poisoned before strangulation...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/6606175.stm

Panorama should be a fascinating watch.

Here is another instance of someone in authority in Pakistan trying to stress that Woolmer wasnt murdered or denying reports that his death WAS a murder.

Would it not be smarter to let the investigations take their course. All you have to say is that the investigations are on and we are in touch with the Police and you will get to know when there is any further break through etc etc

There are no accused /suspects in this case. If there were, one would expect them to be defensive. Why should Pakistani officials be in this 'defensive' mode.

At the very least it is not-a-smart-thing to do.

Hmm, so they're disputing the toxicology reports that prove he was poisoned leaving him unable to fight back whilst being strangled, something all the evidence points to, yet they won't give any details why. Interesting to say the least.

And they have been doing it from the very first day starting with the media manager of the team in Jamaica.

This seems to be taking a weird route with Scotland Yard now coming out and saying he died a natural death, from a heart attack. However local police are convinced he was murdered. Interesting to say the least. Really, it shouldn't be that hard to find out if someone was murdered or died a natural death - I'm no doctor or coroner or anything but I can't understand how there could be such a difference of opinion on the matter, bar extreme incompetence. Anyways, quite abit of media floating around on this.

This is all ****ing bull****, now what does Scotland yard wants the world to believe that the Jamaican police are a bunch of stupid idiots who were misleading the whole world saying that Woolmer got murdered!!

We might never be able to know the truth about this whole matter, which really is a shame.

Yeah, ditto. Baffles logic, from what I can see.
