The team going into the Super 8's with the additional 2 points would hold a decisive edge over the other 4 teams, so IMO opinion the team that wins all its 3 group matches would have some breathing space during the Super 8's.

Yeah obviously they will have an advantage but still with these 8 top teams anything is possible, just as happened in Champions League
