World Cup Predictions

In another display of a poor lack of imagination, I shall replicate another of my threads from the Ashes forum in here, for people to predict who will do what in the WC. The WC obviously cobnsists of a lot more teams than the Ashes, and as such, it shall be a lot harder. My usual rose-tinted super-bias shall prevent me from having a chance of being the king of predictions. The only prediction I will make is that these predictions will be Greigy-worthy. Nonetheless, do share.

World Cup Winners: South Africa
"Big 8" side to perform most poorly: Pakistan
Player with most runs: Kevin Pietersen
Player with best strike-rate: Adam Gilchrist
Player with biggest score of tournament: KP again, doubling up against Canada
Bowler with most wickets: Shaun Pollock
Bowler with best economy rate: Glenn McGrath
Bowler with best performance of tournament: Shaun Pollock to run through one of the big sides in a big match
Tournament's emerging player: Oooh not sure about this
Most disappointing player: Mike Hussey
Surprise package: Mighty mighty England
Biggest disappointment: That six teams will have won the WC and England shan't be one of them

I'll tackle this properly later, but I'll say now that I expect Pietersen to be out sub-40 against Canada.

All?

Haven't a clue.

I'm not one for this large-scale prediction lark.

(Yeah, yeah, I know "well why bother posting in this thread?" Because at least that way people know I'm not one for large-scale prediction)
