Does anyone else find it hilarious that, based on form alone, Michael Hussey should be dropped for Andrew Symonds?

Obviously it won't and shouldn't happen, but when form suggests you drop Hussey, your side is clearly in pretty good touch with the bat. :p

Just goes to show a couple of old adages...

"Form is temporary, class is permanent"

"A fickle thing, is form. It can desert you at the most crucial of times".

Seriously, gutted to see Hussey miss-out against Holland. And when was the last time he scored anything of note for WA?

Is he in danger of turning into Geraint Jones?

Hussey did make a ton in NZ, though. On form it'd probably be Clarke who went, despite the 90 odd yesterday. It was only against Holland, after all. In reality, it'll be Hodge, Watson or Hayden. Anyone else is out of the question, and Hayden is extremely unlikely too.

It's a big test for Watson's value in the team, and who exactly he's being compared with. I think he's probably the #1 candidate to be dropped now, but the selectors have generally stuck with him in the past and left a batsman out because of Watson's bowling. Will be an interesting call.
