Thats correct Mr P...
Well you could say that, but on the other hand you could say, if a lower team is gonna win it then they will need to beat the top sides anyway... And there is no garauntee that the top sides won't be drawn to play each other in the 3rd round so if you make it you may not have to play them anyway... |

Yes the lower sides need to beat the top sides anyway...so? Why should they get to play two less matches then some of us? They have a greater chance of winning it anyway, its BS to further that opportunity.

Its realistic... In a 30 team KO we need to find a way to run it so it works out... this along with adding the academy sides will make it work...
English FA Cup does things this way, works for them... |

I've already said in various threads that I think the format should be:
10 Academy sides play in 2 groups of 5 pre-season,winners through to the main draw. This is Round 1 Then Round 2 Random Draw! Could get NSW vs SA. Straight through to the final -Random draw. 1 less round than Blewy's format and could give small teams chances of victory.

The board have spoken about this and we feel this is the best option to go with...
Next season the top 8 from this seasons cup will be automatically seeded with the rest made up of the top teams who missed out... |
