Effect of the new sim on progression of youngsters.

Graham

3rd Umpire
If lack of experience counts against the youngsters, theoretically we won't have players in their early 20s with world class stats as we do at present.
Having said that, Sriram did state that a few youngsters would shine right from the start, theoretically overcoming this scenario.
I hope he's right because Lancashire have adopted a very brave (foolish?) approach in taking on a number of promising youngsters. Whether or not any of them shine will determine the team's fate.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the new sim successfully factors in progression over a two to three season period. Time will tell!

To be honest age might make a slight different but if a guy avgerages 55 he will undoubfully score runs, he might just not go mad and score 2000 runs @ 80 like we have been seeing by alot in past seasons
