Tasmania Getting Desperate

Today Tasmania went to the extreme when they had a training game against under 15 cricket team Launceston Lions. They won but 10 wickets.

This comes after Tasmania after winning their first 3 games have lost their last 8 and look to be catching the glory of last year after such a promising start.
No love was lost with Allen bouncing the opener who went of crying.

Jason Pike, the manager of Tasmania, just said ' we needed to get that winning feeling back, now we have won a game pretty easily maybe the lose against auckland wont hurt so much. All we have to do is visualise the other teams as under 15's and we might get somewhere'.

The WCC board has condoned this and is looking into the matter.

If this was any other team in WCC the board would look down upon a team playing a bunch of 15 year olds, but we recognise this was a rare chance for Tasmania to have an even match so we wont be looking any further into the matter.

Be a shame if Ponting, Allen, Bond, Midlane and Lampard all suffer midweek injuries.
