Some impressive sides. I am concerned tbh. I would have been more confident if I was still in the old D3.
I think you pretty much ended up with the same sides in D2, with a couple old D4 sides added...

woah you're batting's so much weaker than I thought? Oli Hutchinso would be my grade batsman who came and gave my bowlers some extra practice in the nets.

Talk it up? better than TN? Gotta get your bowlers ER down and your last 3 batsman all averaging above 20 mate...
Ian, you keep saying all this stuff, but where's your team list to back it up?

His team walked out on him cause they knew they couldnt live up to his expectations so he's currently recruiting a bunch of local monkeys from the wildlive sanctuary just outside of Province, He'll post their stats shortly...

Busy on the photostand mate. Having photo's taken with the "promotion trophies" they've gained from the last 3 seasons. You'll have to take a number and wait.

Tasmania announce Season 7 Squad

After a decent first Season under Alex Crampton, Tasmania will be hoping for Promotion from Division 3 in both forms, although survival is a more realistic expectation. We know our batting is not our strong point but it is hugely stronger than last season, with the bowling probably slighly weaker without Sammels. Severe budget cuts at the Bellerive Oval have led to the manager being appointed as fielding coach, and players being paid for scoring runs or taking wickets. Murray Goodwin is retained as Club Captain, and Mathew Sinclair is the new vice captain.

New manager, Gaurav Nayak is taking over the reins of Kent for Season 7, being in division 1 in both forms, the challenge is to still have kept that, division one ranking alive when the season ends. The bowling has gotten a little bit more of a bite, to it, with the addition of O Snow. And Nayak will be looking to continue the spin centred attack, that has been left over from last season. The batting looks to be strong, and Nayak believes, that if his team can get to grips with the change of leadership, then could pose a serious threat for both titles, in season 7. Team list to be annouced shortly.

Northerns beat Yorkshire by 20 runs

Man of the match is I Anjum
After the series ended Mr Wilson stated "great performance by the boys and it will give them plenty of confidence to take into the season."
Mr Thomas said "this is an overall pathetic performance from our boys but I have to take some blame. We will continue training and using different batting combinations to try and gel the First XI before the season begins."

I think there was one sign that i sure on TV from the highlights of that pre-season series, which summed up that performance for Yorkshire, 'Where is Goughie?' :p

He's resting in a crypt under the ground and is wheeled out for OD matches :)

Yorkshire have now made an adjustment to their pitch. No point in having a pitch that benefits the other bowlers and not your own. Now it should favour our attack. :)
