Karachi have their 17 man squad all together and heavily training for the upcoming season. With Karachi still on the lookout for a good FC Batter, all players are working their butts off.

Here is my excel file with squads and many interesting stats. Take a look. The Captains are yet to be decided, but in the running are Dharmani, Manhus, Cooke.

    Northern Districts Announce Squad

The final squad for Northern Districts season 7 campaign has been released in a small season launch. Rookies Ronald Myerscough, Scott Westwood and Toby Roach were unveiled to the media and sponsors, most were there to see new recruit Yashpal Singh but they left disapointed as he remained at his hotel, it is expected he will be at practice in coming days. Manager Simon Fitzsimmons made a brief appearance after making the trip from Australia where he is currently taking charge of the home side. During his quick speech he announced that the captain for season 7 will be South African Andrew Puttick. The keeper will captain a WCC side for the first time and is expected to play a major role in both campaigns, although with a 42 game season he may be rested from some one day games and new vice captain George Goff will take the reigns.
The full squad is in the excel file below...

no honestly, i looked for smart pick ups and mainly one form players early on and used the draft to pick up the extras i needed...
but honestly, you learn a few things after being through as many trading campaigns as i have...

    Were the pictures really necessary?

Markus Makes Bold Predictions about Season 7 and Comes out Swinging

I personally believe that my side Western Province will win the division 1 four day title this year. Simple as that. Without doubt I feel that after 3 straight seasons of promotion and only having lost 5 games in the past 30 that we are primed to beat our big rivals in Division 1.

ACT and Somerset will be soft targets. They've spent the last two seasons playing against sub-par teams and racking up big scores. Welcome to the real world.

QLD, Kent, SA and Lancashire are all a dying breed unfortunately. I feel that all are well past their former glory and have failed to come out and be as strong as they once were.

Karnataka and Hampshire are lucky to be here. They wouldn't even be contesting these trophies if it weren't for the rearranging of divisions. I've tipped Hampshire for relegation and I think that'll definately happen. Whilst Karnataka have been my bogey team of late, they are much weaker now and will struggle against us.

TN and Warwickshire are regarded as being the other two major threats... Andrew's trying to play the underdog card in 4 day, so as to have an excuse when his side finish third, and Kurt'll struggle to put 22 good games together.

We've got added batting depth this year, greater potency with the ball, and one of the best WCC arounds...

Bring it on guys... The WCC trophy will be WP's.

Sounds like Ian is trying to convince his players that they can win it, when the truth of it is that they will be the ones who struggle..

Somerset and ACT playing Sub par teams... HAHAHA i will admit that our opposition hasnt been strong but you can only play whats in front of you, and I know my team is the strongest its been EVER!!!!

    Bring it on B!atch.....
