Despite being 2 from 2 in the 4 day form of the game a slightly new look side with Brent Dennet making his debut for the injured Eddy Tate. The general feeling around the camp is that Brent could surprise a few, and he definately won't be shielded from the action.
Another change is that Rabbi Llewellyn has been moved down the order to number 4 in a bid to find form, whilst Birch has moved to the top. Birch showed super form opening the batting in the trials and deserves a chance there.
It's going to be a tough game once again, Karnataka are playing well. We will however be looking to spoil the party for the new manager.

A good second up victory over Mumbai has us right amongst the mix. After much deliberation Howarth moves up to bat at 3 for this game, with Bradshaw moving down to 4. Otherwise there are no changes to the side to murdered Mumbai 2 weeks ago. Much the same is expected this week against Yorkshire. With a little luck Karnataka can keep their hot form going, in the process knocking over those hot shot, pretenders from Western Province.
