Interesting that he thinks South Africa and England are favourties for the tournament too because of the amount of Twenty20 they play.

That depends really on whether England and SA pick a specialist 20-20 side, or a changed ODI side. I'd rather they picked the best 20-20 players, plus KP and Collingwood, then I'd think we would have a pretty good chance.

Pace on the ball, in the 20/20 format, can prove very expensive at times.
Well you're better being really fast is better than just being fast medium/medium fast in Twenty20. Real genuine pace can be just as effective as spin if bowled well.

As with any format though, I'd say that'd greatly depend on the pitch. If you were playing on a really slow wicket, medium pace change ups from different angles would be much harder to score off than someone consistent in pace coming on nicely - which a genuine quick would do on a slow wicket. That's all nullified though if they go the Malinga route of inswinging yorkers every second ball.

It'd also depend, as you mentioned, on how well you bowled. Genuine pace bowled well is always a handful, but it has a greater than average chance of going wrong and being sprayed everywhere - and if it was, the runs would flow like a tap in Twenty20, I'd imagine.

Hopefully he has been working on his death bowling & his abilty to reverse it like Tait, because even though its great news that he's back at full speed as we all know more often than not he does go around the park 20/20 style situations in the 50 over format.

Well I'll be surprised if we see much reverse swing in a 20 over innings, but there should be orthodox swing most of the game. Won't be a dull moment when Australia bowl I imagine.

Good on him. If there's one bloke in international cricket who I could choose to be mates with, it would be Binga. He's so kind hearted and genuine.
