You really think Kenya can do Sri lanka again:) Gawsh... I'd rather if we hit NZ as Oayback for refusing to travel to Kenya during the 2003 WC

We didn't go because we were rather worried you would blow us all up you see.

I don't mean to sound offensive or anything, that was just the reasoning. The players actualy wanted to go as they became more and more desperate to get to the semis but NZC were not having any of it.

Predicted lineups for tomorrows game:

New Zealand(likely): Brendon McCullum, Lou Vincent, Peter Fulton, Jacob Oram, Ross Taylor, Scott Styris, Gareth Hopkins (wk), Daniel Vettori (capt), Shane Bond, Mark Gillespie, Jeetan Patel

Kenya(likely): David Obuya, Collins Obuya, Tanmay Mishra, Steve Tikolo (capt), Thomas Odoyo, Alex Obanda, Jimmy Kamande, Rajesh Bhudia, Maurice Ouma (wk), Nehemiah Odhiambo, Peter Ongondo

According to cricinfo the pitch is likely to be fast and bouncy, so we should see good bowling from Gillespie, Bond and Oram. Wouldn't mind giving Chris Martin a crack in this game, hopefully he manages to injure himself.

Funny how Sri Lanka didnt think they will be blown up by the bombs. New Zealand aye dnt get me started.

Any particular reason why McCullum is playing as a specialist batsmen?

Just so that he can concentrate on his batting really, Gareth Hopkins is a decent enough keeper and batsman, has been scoring a lot of runs for Otago over the last few seasons and is more than capable of doing the job down the order.

Why isn't Macca playing? He looked in good form recently (and I've got him in my Fantasy cricket team). Also, if McCullum isn't 'keeping what fielding position would he be taking?

That's incorrect mate, Hopkins is not in the twelve named.

That was just my predicted XI, should've made that more clear. Absolutely disgraceful though, I hate Bracewell so much it's not funny. First he tells us Oram will be at #3, then shifts him back down the order and he claims Brendon McCullum will play as a specialist batsman and now he's wearing the gloves aswell. Like Flem, I'll be keeping an eye on trademe for an AK-47.

Not Terrible
I think McCullum not keeping is also a move to add a bit more fielding power to the team, he is very good in the field.
