How do you enter into the 20/20 world cup?
Sorry I saw the talk on Ireland not getting in and was wondering.

*wonders why no one has bothered to reply to this in a week...*
The qualification tournament was the World Cricket League in Kenya in January. Kenya and Scotland took the first two places and qualified. Yes, it was a 50-over tournament to decide who qualified for a 20-over tournament. Economics trumping sporting considerations, I suppose.

"Who did Scotland Beat in the ICC World Cricket League final to qualify for the inaugral Twenty20 World Cup?" the answer given was Ireland Given that this http://uk.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/20...NEYS/WCL-DIV1/ is what actually hapenned isn't it embarrasing how little and ICC sanctioned programme knows about the tournament |
