Alright so this WC is really not as important as the real one, but atleast we can save some pride by doing well in it and hopefully have some fun along the way.
We have lots of big hitters in Indian cricket, hopefully they can come good.
Any ideas for team composition?
Wouldn't surprise me if Irfan Pathan made the squad TBH. He could be quite a handy Twenty20 player.
Oh for sure. And Sehwag is pretty much gauranteed a spot as well.
Are there any other young domestic guns who could be potential Twenty20 players Turd?

Not many twenty20 stars, but not many games, hopefully some can be made by the ICL and the Twenty20 World Cup.
Ambati Rayudu can hit the ball... Was a great prospect sometime back..
Did you go by 20/20 Interstate Cup state stats? Really, you can't tell much by those since at least half of the leading run-scorers and wicket-takers are unknowns froom minor sides - chances are they just had a good patch over a few innings. You'd have to go by what these players have done in the past as well as the role they play in the national side. For instance, Niraj Patel is known to be a grafter, Sachin Tendulkar should be preserved for test cricket and Virender Sehwag would be well-suited to this form of cricket ...Quote:
