Runs a distinct chance of being zero for four very quickly IMO. Jayasuriya must have some sort of record as far as ODI ducks goes, Afridi close behind, Pietersen and Flintoff are mildly mercurial as well, and not exactly sound against the new ball (witness ODIs in England this summer).

You've also got a grand total of nine perfectly decent bowlers, so chop Jayasuriya and Afridi for two who can actually bat..which would be Gayle (second best OD opener in the world at present) and Hussey (devastating batsman).

Maybe Ponting in for Flintoff or Razzaq, too.

I have to admitt Hussey is an amazing player and I was toying with him or Kemp, I also agree with what you said about 0-4. To be honest, I totally forgot about Chris Gayle, I don't know how though! Flintoff and Pietersen I think should be there.

9 bowlers by my count.

A couple of specialist bats could be added. 20/20 is more orthadox than people give it credit for and losing early wickets is a nightmare as there is so little time to recover.

No offence but Jaysuriya is far better than Sehwag and so's Chris Gayle(I was reminded of him a minute ago) plus Jayasuriya and Gayle are better as part time bowlers than Sehwag. I like Dhoni but I wouldn't have Ponting in there. Bravo, definitly not. Brett Lee is overrated and Bracken gives you a different option as a left armer.

Gimme' proof that Jaysuriya is better than Sehwag in 20/20s. Wait, who scored 34 in his 20/20 debut? Sehwag's out of form, but is perfect for this format of the game.

No Ponting! O wait I forgot Afridi, he is so much better than Ponting  .

You need someone energetic player like Bravo for 20/20s... but yea I'de still prefer Dhoni over him.

I don't know but someone scored 41, who was that?
Okay good point, I was hoping no one would catch on to that... but he is 37... age isn't on his side for the fast paced 20/20 format.
