NZ beat England chasing with a last ball 4 from the blade of one Ross Taylor. Ross the Boss. The Rosster.

Flem274*

123/5
nz score 400 in the final then the oppo implode for 25. k fry release a limited edition ross taylor double down, lovely trenty song is thrashed, jacinda adern announces a new high speed train line called the whakamana express which is just a bullet train with no deviation from a straight line.

edit - social media based fans and the herpes guy from a nation that will not be mentioned complain nz shouldn't have made the semis

India beat New Zealand* by 1 wicket on the last ball of the match with Jasprit Bumrah bopping Boult over long on

NZ lose to India in the semis but both progress to the finals because England and Australia are both disqualified for cheating and/or general direness.

I would also have Starc ending up figures of 10-0-87-0 and Finch scoring 81(82) run out by a direct hit from Kedar Jadhav at mid off.

Nathan Lyon takes the only 2 wickets for Aus but inexplicably doesn't bowl his 10 overs

Jadeja not in the XI but is on as sub from the first ball and takes the catch to dismiss Warner

Jadhav with the troll 2/7 at the end of the innings

We've even got Kuldeep to play the role of Brad Hogg. It's perfect

Imagine someone winning the final by bopping Shami over long on for six. Life imitates meme.

New Zealand beating England by one run. Bowling England out on the last ball of the final.
With King Kane having scored a century, and Lord Colin producing a stellar all round performance.

Australia winning this is the only acceptable result for me. I don't care whether it is NZ or India in the final but Australia just have to win!!

I get why you wouldn’t want NZ or India to win, but what about England? Why not them. They have been pretty good and their team is likeable.

Ideally England bowl New Zealand or India out for 0 and chase it down with 10 wickets left off the first ball

Realistically we don't even make it

England beat NZ by 374 runs with a 24 metre boundary on one side.

The big nature of the win means Pakistan retrospectively finish in the top 4 by overtaking NZ on NRR.
