I opened this post with curiosity and intrigue. Now (a) I wish I hadn't bothered, and (b) I feel like a mug for not seeing it coming. Hmm shouldn't have said that, tomorrow we'll hear how someone got hit by a mug falling out the cupboard, or dropped one on their foot or something....:(

Anyway isn't it supposed to be Hussain who breaks hand/finger related bones?

Don't forget Nasser left the field as well :(

"In addition, Nasser Hussain left the field without shaking hands with the opposition to receive ice treatment on a sore left thigh and right knee. "

There has to be some rational explanation for this spate of injuries. This is getting ridiculous. I mean, every team has its share of injured players, but nothing extreme like this.

Not having any luck? This one was because some damn Aussie hurt his thumb with a nasty hard cricket ball...

Well, other teams also have toured Australia recently and lost badly, but they haven't had 1/4th of the men injured before the tour, 1/2 in hospital during the tour.....I mean I can understand the mental bruising after receiving such a pasting, but the physical crippling is.....I don't know how to put it.

I hope he does
Why don't we pick Ramprakash, Ward and Salisbury too, then?
What do you have against Surrey, There are a class side who are the best Club Side in the World
Because Ramprakash and Salisbury are Test Faliures, I wouldn't pick either of them, maybe I'd bring Ward back, only if he does well next year to show this wasn't a one off...

Iam English and will defend them as far as I can...but even I don't have an argument for that.... NSW/QLD/Mumbai just for starters would rate higher IMO

Iam not saying that they are a bad team iam not... iam just saying they aren't the best team (club) in the world.... if that was the case then surely England would field the Surrey X1 and they should be dominating the international game as well...which as everyone can see we are not :(

I dunno about Mumbai really, they have some stars but not the depth of NSW or QLD or Surrey. I would put Surrey 3rd. Thinking about it some of the Zimbabwean teams are pretty strong, Matabeleland have basically all of Zimbabwe's and Mashonaland have all the batsmen...
