The pain of that game goes beyond just that innings and match. That was Pakistan's greatest ever generation of players, if they had won at Hobart, they could have won the third test and won their first ever test series in Australia. That could have totally changed the course of that team's journey.

And against that Australian team too. Would have been ridiculous to win one test, let alone a series.

Taufel definitely. Aleem Dar has had a few bad years recently but back in 2011-12 he was awesome. I like Kettleborough too.

The 2013 ashes was loopy but overall the umpires have been pretty good over the time I've watched cricket.

Pretty sure it was Bucknor. **** he was woeful. No idea how he has thus reputation amongst many people as a great umpire.

Who says that? No one once match coverage started improving. He was always ****. Its just that a lot of people didn't know how **** before then.

That was actually his reaction to an lbw appeal the over before. He was just that slow.

I think Gaffney has been pretty good, from memory. The entire English contingent have been pretty passable recently too.

In South Africa's very first World Cup game - off the very first ball - there was one of the biggest umpiring howlers in World Cup history. Geoff Marsh nicked an Allan Donald delivery to Dave Richardson, but for some reason Brian Aldridge gave him not out. It was an absolutely massive edge.

Didn't matter though, we still won the game.

Whoever gave Dhoni out LBW in this game off the last ball of the first innings. The worst decision ever. It is ridiculous how bad it is - he ****ing inside edged it from outside off stump onto his pad and was given out lbw.
