Probably a better question than the 100 Test one as everyone who hit 100 Tests was at least Test-class for most of their careers.

Ashraful probably the standout. Discounting Bangladesh, maybe Ramprakash or Giles?

Ramps had a pretty decent second half to his test career, but it's wonder he even got a chance to have that second half as he struck at 19 for his first 20 tests

Even with a full season of selection it's still going to take four to five years, based on the number of tests NZ play these days.
