It was a very poor comeback to a ridiculous post. The Academy managers are important and we shouldn't be slagging them off if we want to keep them interested.

too right

Warwickshire eye potential treble

Birmingham is starting to really buzz. With their chargers about to head into their opening Cricket Web Bar Cup match, the feeling is this side can go all the way. Not only that Warwickshire currently lead both their four day and one day division. The feeling is a historic WCC first could be around the corner. There are critics, but all the signs are there that this is indeed possible.

Warwickshire's one day side has been in top form, beaten only once, but still 2 points clear at the top of the table. The feeling is the side will have to win 3 of their last 4 matches to be assured of the championship success. On current form, they're a ****in good chance. Furthermore this one day should be able to back up in the CW Bar Cup. When comparing their current line up with some of the higher seeds, in the CW Bar, it's a fair call to make that they are on a level playing field.

The Four Dayer, are looking close, but Warwickshire have long had a squad capable of doing enough in this division. Belief is high that they'll be able to bring home the prize after 2 seasons of frustration.

Province Manager Seething and Chaulk

The race at the top of the Division 3 table is really hotting up! Canterbury are just holding on to their rivals WP and Warwickshire, and it is only because of Tasmanian manager Ash Chaulk that they are. Tasmania actually beat Canterbury lsat weekend with Canterbury being rewarded the points due to fofeiture. This left WP manager Slats4ever in an angry state. "Why the **** couldn't he jsut submit. His lazy attitude as a manager may well go a long way in getting Canterbury through when they don't deserve to get through. I've had too many seasons of unlucky things going my way for some **** to do it again. **** you Chaulk, we're going to whip Tassy ****"

Gray Appointed ND Assistant

Northern Districts have signed Jamee Gray as assistant manager. Gray has a pedigree which includes being Free State assistant and manger of Pollock XI and WA. This is believed to be just a short term position as Jamee has announced that he is looking to gain full control of an academy team in the near future.

Western Province Announce Captain

The Western Province cricket board is pleased to announce that the team will be lead in both the OD and 4D form by Jimmy Schofield.

Jimmy has been at the club now for 3 seasons when he first arrived from Victorian. His talent as a cricketer is noticeable as he could hold his place in any team with the ball going on his last 3 seasons exploits and his strong lower order batting only adds to his value as a cricketer.

It is going to be an even more important year for Jimmy as he has been announced as the clubs new first change bowler... Many critics rate him as just a handy all rounder, however with this added pressure coach slats4ever has tipped him to thrive "he's a great cricketer, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. he plays with a lot of passion". He also went on to say that he thinks captaincy will suit him fine "he's the best man for the job.. whilst he may not score the most runs or take the most wickets there's no denying this guys value as a smart cricketer".

Jimmy will be backed up by Zac Birch as vice captain this year and with other players in the team having captained elsewhere in WCC team leadership shouldn't be a problem.

Double Scoop for Surrey

Surrey County Cricket Club have today made 2 announcements, the new head coach, Jamee Gray, who although a bit nervous about leaving Boston with out playing a match was happy to step up to the big leagues. Jamee has now had a role in 5 different countries: Manager of WA, Surrey, the Pollock XI and Boston, alongwith Assistant managing at Northern Districts and Free State. His first announcement was the appointment of medium pace bowler Mohendra Shrinivas as the captain.

They also unveiled the new kit, sponsered by Brit Insurance. It will be the kit for Seasons 6 and 7.
