I always go back to Chanderpaul and he used to train when it comes to batting. He got a bowling machine and when there were no tests going on, he'd go back to his home in Florida and bat against the bowling all day long. You gotta put in the hard work. Them youths think that they are too big for the game.

Agree with Mash too on why are the West Indies going to India and NZ? Step back, play Zim and Ireland.

Yeah yeah $$$$ but that's why the game needs financial restructuring. The ICC need to help fund these games because the WI gets nothing from getting licked down in India.

It's possible the West Indies grounds are so skint they can't pay for the labour, but better pitches is more a question of knowledge and method than cost.

re education of curators began back in jimmy adams era under then chief curator ken crafton. really not sure what difference its made or realistically was going to make.

Honest to God, I'm trying to go through my usual "so what's next" thought process after a test, but I've got nothing. I have no clue what they can do with that batting lineup. I don't even know what to suggest. Its just replacing 💩 with more 💩. All I've got is replace Greaves with Jason Holder. Otherwise I don't even really care anymore. See what Sammys data based vibes are just before the India tour.

We will have to put up with this situation for years. CWI have the academy, they have more structure now. But we won't see the benefit of that for a minimum of 5 years, likely more. We just have to find a way of seeing marginal gains for now.

Holder would be an upgrade at 7. I don’t know enough about the best top 6 but it’s apparent that there are certain players that should be cast off permanently from this side.
