Why no crowd barricades?

If it had happened in India, they would have been on the plane home within the hour.
So you say, but in reality only some teams have a history of walking off the field or refusing ot play and Australia is not one of them.

So history points to you being wrong.

How is being on a plane an hour after related to Ponting.

It is normal practise for some teams to issue threats about playing and leaving but Australia is not one of these teams.
Wow. Yeah you're right, no Aussie team would ever do what India did. Except..... they did.

Pakistan '88 they were virtually halfway to the airport because of disagreement over the decisions of one umpire. And what did the Aussie team try to pressure the PCB to do? Replace him for the next Test. Sound in any way familiar?

Fail. You would make up anything to justify your theories.

Haha...hmmmmmmm.....
To be fair to the Aussies though they were protesting against an extreme case of animal rights abuse. It had been going on for days and it wasn't until the umpire finally started whacking his guide dog with a white cane that they threatened to go home.

Goughy, SS, both of you two are calling on the yokel ****wit who tackled Latif to be given a short stint in jail, does the fact that you two both live in the States where it would be certain he would spend a period behind bars, play a factor in that you both think he should go to jail?

I don't know about in WA, but here where I live, people have done far worse assault wise and avoided prison. It's quite common to see on the news reports that in a pub/club, some bogan says something to some dude's GF, that guy tells the bogan to get lost, and the aforementioned first guy slams a beer glass in that guys face, causing some nasty facial injuries, and still avoids prison. I'm not joking. In fact it is so bad, or enough of a media beat up, that the pubs/clubs have had to switch to plastic glasses/cups. I know it isn't that relevant to the pitch invader, but to try and give reason why that people have done much worse in terms of assault have avoided prison, and so should the ****wit who tackled Latif.

Haha I have Streetwise on ignore but good to see him up to his usual antics and getting owned by everyone as always.

Ponting said he would have walked, and he would have been right to, whether the incident occurred in India or Australia.

Tbf, the joke sentences bear some responsibility for the fact that a good siZed chunk of our society just don't respect the law.

Lol, Streetwise is a fool. Embodies the kind of ignorant, contempuous superiority that we see from time to time at places like Cronulla. Wasn't him who tackled Latif was it?

It's the face I used to see when I'd have to read his excruciating posts tbh. Should be his avatar.

Teeth seem fitting too.

Nah, money talks. In general India is a huge country with respect to the future prosperity of Australia. Similarly for CA revenues.
