It's fine while chatting.. about 90% of people do it while chatting. However, it's really an accepted practice on forums.its much quicker....thats the ive just learned to type when chatting to friends, i can type in watever form i choose just as u can
I see you read that one.run out of things to say have we
I think you're just lucky there are not a lot of Italians, Spaniards or Portuguese people who follow cricket. You should probably stop now before you offend any other races. It's not racist, it's just a commonly used slang term in England. If someone else hadn't jumped in where it didn't concern him he wouldn't have got it back.
It is only racist if he intends it to be racist. I always thought it was a racist term as such, but he doesn't appear to be using it that way - so he shouldn't be thought of as racist for doing so.im 100% sure is racist
i understand that....im not going to change end of discussionIt's fine while chatting.. about 90% of people do it while chatting. However, it's really an accepted practice on forums.
If you noticed, all of the most respected members here use proper English with proper sentence structure and proper punctuation. You can type however you want, but your posts will appear to be of less "value" if you continue to post in the manner you currently are - even if you are making valid points.
although he didnt intend for it be racist he needs to be more careful, alot of people will find it racist..It is only racist if he intends it to be racist. I suggest though, Lillian, that you look up that word on a dictionary site or something similar before using it again.

If you truly understood that, I'd have thought you would indeed think of changing a tad. Either you don't understand, or you are just a fool.i understand that....im not going to change end of discussion![]()
so that means if u understand something then u change it?If you truly understood that, I'd have thought you would indeed think of changing a tad. Either you don't understand, or you are just a fool.
If you understand that you are doing something wrong, then the typical response is indeed to change it.so that means if u understand something then u change it?
how is it wrong!?! sure its wrong grammr but its a forum not bloody school!!If you understand that you are doing something wrong, then the typical response is indeed to change it.
Stop being so anal about it! Who gives a toss if he uses txt speak. If that's what he's comfortable with that let him do it. I can't see anything in the forum rules about it.If you understand that you are doing something wrong, then the typical response is indeed to change it.
I've already explained how it's wrong.how is it wrong!?! sure its wrong grammr but its a forum not bloody school!!
The day I stop being anal about anything is the day Jacob Oram averages over 35 in ODIs with the bat.Stop being so anal about it! Who gives a toss if he uses txt speak. If that's what he's comfortable with that let him do it. I can't see anything in the forum rules about it.
I think the 2004 series between India and Australia was "fairly tight". As you said, India won one test and nearly won another, and lost two. Not as close as the 2005 Ashes say, but it wasn't a flogging by any means. In the Pakistan vs England series, England obviously got massacred in the final test, but it was very close up until then. The first test could have gone either way, and the second test was fairly even most of the way through. Pakistan were the better side, but it was fairly close IMO. Not quite the same as saying that England could easily have won the series, which I think might have been how you interpreted what I said. There was one close test match, that's it. You can't call that a 'fairly tight series' based on that, England never had a chance of winning the 2nd or 3rd.
That's like saying India lost to Australia in 2004 in a 'fairly tight series' because they won one test, and almost won another. They got hammered in the two others though which they never looked like winning.
He's well on his way to that, it's already risen nearly 4 runs from just 3 games, but it might take a few years...which unfortunately means a few more years of listening to you being analThe day I stop being anal about anything is the day Jacob Oram averages over 35 in ODIs with the bat.
Ah but the forum rules say that posts should be in EnglishStop being so anal about it! Who gives a toss if he uses txt speak. If that's what he's comfortable with that let him do it. I can't see anything in the forum rules about it.
I didn't say anything about what you said though... I was simply giving the day of which I would stop being so anal. 35 is so out of reach for him that it isn't funny - very similar to the thought of me discontinuing my anal ways...I said 30 anyway. I've told you a million times to stop exaggerating
