You can vote for who you want, but mixing ODI form with Test form is a mistake really, and it's been recurring throughout this thread. Going by the logic shown throughout, we should have mauled India in the ODI series last year, because our morale after Mumbai was so so so high. Nonetheless, we got beat 5-1, because we're crap at One-day cricket. Our Test form obviously isn't good atm, because we've lose our last five, but really, in the last few years we've beaten Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, and drawn with India in India. Not many sides can make such claims, certainly not the West indies and as such I would back us big time.

If this so-called "starting tomorrow" series was in England it would be a draw as the prospects of play in a Test in England in January/February would be very slim.

There was one close test match, that's it. You can't call that a 'fairly tight series' based on that, England never had a chance of winning the 2nd or 3rd.

That's like saying India lost to Australia in 2004 in a 'fairly tight series' because they won one test, and almost won another. They got hammered in the two others though which they never looked like winning.

Actually I didn't at any point call anyone a dago. It the first instance it was just used as a slang term for not writing proper English and in the second instance I didn't call you a dago I said you weren't clever enough to be one and you've just proved it with that post.
