Probably, but Kusal Perera isn't thought of as a great batsman. Hence this reaction. But this doesn't factor in my rating.
I think the match situation was also the toughest. Then it was an away innings, against SA. That last wicket partnership with Viswa..... And I won't consider that innings shaky at all. Stokes 135 was a bit shaky, don't think 153 was like that really.

One of the very rare moments when Migara gushing about a Sri Lankan players Greatness, isn't way off. Especially given it's ****ing Kusal Perera.

It was more ridiculous it came from KJP who was an average test batsman at best.

I think it was a bit shaky, there were quite a few edges or hit&hope feel shots, although the situation definitely makes much greater than Stokes'. Lara's masterpiece was much more in control I feel barring the drop at the very end. He also faced McGrath and Warne even though it was at home, which is why I rate it higher.

Stokes 135 I don't think was shaky but it was just pure theatrics, and as unfair as it is, theatrics matter when rating a knock, it's like how Randy Savage vs Ultimate Warrior is technically just a very good match, hundred better matches than it but the theatrics of it allows it to transcend it's medium.

On the attack, I would rate Steyn, Philander, Rabada and Olivier in SA just over McWarne and Gillespie in WI, especially given Warne wasn't bad but legit horrible by any standard that series. Agree with the rest somewhat.
